Relocating to a new home or disbursing an estate are two of the top stress producing events for anyone!  Each decision, each task, can be overwhelming.  Emotional involvement can cause critical details to be overlooked.  Grandma's Helpers, LLC offers a broad range of services to assist Seniors, their Adult Children and their Families.  We will work with you from the start, beginning with a complimentary personal consultation, to develop an overall plan customized to your individual needs. 

Full Service Senior Move Management

Complementary Personal Consultation - A representative of Grandma's Helpers, LLC will meet with you at your home.  We will discuss with you the services available to you.  Our contract will be reviewed and any questions will be answered. 

Pre-Move Preparations - Grandma's Helpers will provide a Move Consultant to assist you in the planning, decision making and sorting processes.  We will develop a checklist of tasks to be completed and a timeline for completion of each task.  We will sort through closets, drawers, the attic, basement and garage while assisting you in making informed decisions about what to take with you, what to give to family members, what to sell, what to donate and what to throw away or recycle.  

New Residence Floor Plan - We will provide you with a scale drawing of your new residence using actual measurements.  We'll present you with one or more floor plans showing arrangements of your furniture and other belongings.

Packing - Whether you prefer to use your packing materials or ours, we will carefully pack the belongings you wish to take with you, as well as those that will be shipped to others. 

Moving - We work with reputable movers who take pride in the service they provide for you.  We will take care of arranging all of the details of the move and meet the movers on move day to supervise the move and to direct the placement of furniture and boxes in your home..

Unpacking & Organizing - We will unpack your belongings and put everything in its place.  This will insure you are settled as quickly as possible and will feel at home right from the start.

Profitable Disbursal of Unwanted Items - Grandma's Helpers, LLC will assist you in the liquidation of those items you do not take with you.  We can conduct a household sale, arrange for charitable donations, pack & ship items designated for family members and completely remove or recycle everything else.

Preparing Former Residence for Sale - We will arrange for and supervise any maintenance or repairs that are needed.  We'll also help with decluttering and any other changes that will enhance the value and appeal of your home so that it will sell more quickly.
